The Ministry of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Sarawak (M-FICORD) is responsible for the development of agriculture and rural economies in Sarawak.
In line with the Sarawak government’s aspiration to be a region of high income and advanced economy by 2030, our role is to ensure development of agriculture focuses on commercialising the sector through greater collaboration with global, domestic and community partnership, driven by data and innovation.
To achieve M-FICORD's goal of making Sarawak a net food exporter by 2030, M-FICORD also emphasized the importance of having a complete supply and value chain in terms of research and development (R&D) in advancing the agriculture sector.
To all visitors, this website will serve as a portal of information as well as a platform containing news, activities and links that is related to M-FICORD.
