Director General of LPNM Mohd Khairuzamri Mat said, this can be implemented through the Pineapple-Based Food Sales Program until the end of March.

"Through this promotion and sales program, LPNM is targeting total sales worth RM40,000 and involving 3,000 visitors or buyers.

"LPNM intends to expand this kind of program in various places and locations throughout the country, in line with the empowerment of the basic pineapple farming industry," he said while inaugurating the Pineapple Promotion and Pineapple-Based Food Sales Program here last Saturday.

In addition, he said it also increased the branding value, market network and acceptance of pineapple-based products produced by local entrepreneurs in the domestic and international markets.
