NIPAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The first series of the Nipah Community Development Program will be held on 29 & 30 May 2023 at Kampung Tambak, Pusa.

This program aims to:
  • Raise awareness on the nipah industry capability to empower the economy of rural communities.
  • Introduce the latest advances in cultivation technology and nipah product processing.
  • Encourage community participation in economic and entrepreneurial activities.
  • Identify the current and latest issues faced by nipah industrialist.

Various activities have been arranged for this two-day programme:
  • Briefing on the nipah industry.
  • Experience sharing by entrepreneurs.
  • Visit to the nipah plantation site.
  • Food processing technology course
  • Community activities such as folk sports and others
